Green Events Devon began as the on-line version of our well established South Devon printed publication - This publicises the many inspiring, natural, holistic, & planet-friendly events and activities being offered here in Devon - to the growing number of people looking for less harmful, more positive, more meaningful and varied things to do. 
Now that this site is interactive, fully searchable and free, it means that everyone from all over Devon, the South West & eventually all of the UK can join in promoting and discovering these exiting events and activites too!

This site is your site!
Without your participation this site will have much less to offer! So we hope that you will feel  welcome to add as many events and activities as you wish, with as much detail as you wish, and encourage your friends to do the same. This will  help  give  everyone a broad, attractive choice of activities, which will encourage more people to look in these green pages for these fun and meaningful things to do. This means that more people will, in turn, be finding your events or activities also! So in a rather beautiful way, the more information is added the more it helps everyone: you, our visitors, this site, ...and the planet as a whole.

It is to make it easy for as many people as possible to find and join in green & holistic activities - and to help everyone running them to able to freely publicise them - that we have made our core services free, direct and easy to use.

Calendar Events: Begin with a date and are fully searchable by date or word search.
Ongoing Events: Begin with a day of the week or similar, and are occur regularly.
Classified Directories: For general information - under headings like " Green Living " "Therapies" " Local Groups" "Businesses"
News Items: For interesting news and press releases of campaigning developments or holistic information.

"View" Events, Directories and News Items by clicking the "view" buttons above, or by doing a key word search to find not only what's-on when, but also who's offering what where - for a greener, more natural lifestyle choice, close to you.

"Add" your own - Events, Directories and News Items by selecting an "add" button above and filling in our simple on-line forms. There you can use your own words to give as much detail as you wish - and web addresses become live links automatically!  Then just click "add" at the bottom of the page - it's that easy!  ...and all new information is up-dated daily.

Activities can include any : - events, campaigns, therapies, therapists, organisations, businesses, goods, services, groups, classes, courses or entertainments - that are in some way environmentally friendly, natural, holistic, alternative or planet-friendly - none are too small, all are welcome!

Our "Forum" page is for larger articles - likely to promote discussion. We hope this will be fully interactive and bloggable soon but until then you are welcome to send us articles and comments to post for you.   <Forum>
