There are two printed versions of Green Events currently in circulation:

 Green Events South Devon - publication

General Description:
Green Events - S. Devon is a 2 sided, bi-monthly, A3 sized poster/leaflet, printed in one colour. It has one month's events & adverts on each side. The original motto was "putting green events in the public eye"
Our print run is now at least 8000 copies per issue - readership of over 20,000
As posters: Uniquely, as part of our service, we go around at the end of each month, displaying about 350 copies as A3 sized posters in public places between Exeter & Plymouth.These are up-dated each month.
As leaflets: The other - at least 7300 copies, are folded into A5 leaflets & distributed in many shops, libraries and public places between Plymouth & Exeter. These are then taken by the public to their homes & offices where they are read, kept for reference, or often, displayed.

We have been in circulation for over 16 years.

Distribution:
Towns include: Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes, Torbay, Newton Abbot, Tavistock & the A38 towns West of Ashburton.
Locations include: shop counters, shop windows, waiting rooms, libraries, adult learning centers, art centres, health centres, pubs, cafes, ... etc. All the holistic venues & many public ones.

Mail Shot:
We also distribute the leaflets by post to between 320 - 350 separate addresses - to the places we can't visit ourselves.
Mail shot Inserts: We accept A5 sized inserts for inclusion with our mail shot. Price for 350 inserts is £15, but for environmental activities are free (space permitting)

Posters:
We can sometimes display 10 - 60 posters for Green Events advertisers. Please call us for details.

Advertising:
We have 3 advertising options: Box adverts, Calendar Events, & Directory entries.

Box Adverts: These are either small, medium or large. (the few exceptions are by arrangement only)
Small box - 3 cms high x 6 cms wide, costing £25.
Medium box - 6 cms high & 6 cms wide, costing £50
Large box - 9 cms high & 6 cms wide, costing £75

Calendar Events:
Guaranteed entries: usually cost £5 per line but vary from £3 - £5 according to circumstances ...but are free to environmental & campaigning groups - space permitting. 
Stand-by entries: You are always very welcome to send us any details without payment - which we will happily try to include ... if space permits!

Each line begins with a date or day of the week, has a descriptive section (at least 64 characters) then a time section, ending with a contact section of (at least 58 characters). eg:-

When sending us details you can use the following lengths as yardsticks. Copy them to your pc.  Your details shouldn't be any wider. Use Arial, font size10

Directory entries: like a small ad, are a block of 25 - 30 words, always on the second month of each issue - costing £10. The first few words act as a heading & are in bold capital letters.
We have 2 categories: 'News, Events, Activities, Services'  and  'Healing Centres, Therapies, Therapists'

(You are always very welcome to send us any details without payment - which we will happily try to include ... if space permits! The above prices though will guarantee entry. Other details available on request.) 

Copy Deadlines:
We have 2 deadlines, one for the box adverts & one for the other entries. They vary by a few days each issue, but the safe, rule of thumb deadlines are:
Box adverts - 7th Jan, 7th March, 7th May, 7th July, 7th Sept, 7th Nov. 
Events & Directories - 10th Jan, 10th March, 10th May, 10th July, 10th Sept, 10th Nov.

Sending copy:
To send your copy by e-mail click <here> for full details. If you prefer to send by post, then send any completed ads as a print-out in black & white, preferably at twice actual size - so that when it is scanned and reduced the reproduction is crisp. 
Free typesetting:
We can do the typesetting or re-setting of your ads for you if you wish - at no extra cost! Just send us the details with any art work & instructions, & we will make your advert for you.
